Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Resolution Companion ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Resolution Companion is a personal development application designed to help users define personal growth goals, track daily actions, and receive AI-powered coaching. The App provides:

• AI-assisted persona definition and goal setting
• Daily action tracking and momentum visualization
• AI coaching and reflection sessions
• Progress analytics and alignment metrics
• Optional local context tracking, personal story archives, and evidence timelines
• Optional AI Plan Tune-Up proposals that require your confirmation before changing an action

Subscription Terms

Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, depending on where you obtained the App.

Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Lifetime Premium does not renew.

Managing Subscriptions: Subscriptions are billed and managed by the store where you purchased them. On Apple devices, open Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Cancellation cannot be performed inside the app.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to the applicable store refund policy.

End User License Agreement (EULA)

User Responsibilities

When using Resolution Companion, you agree to:

• Use the App for lawful purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Not use the App in any way that could harm or overburden our services
• Not share your subscription access with others

AI Features Disclaimer

The AI coaching, onboarding, and Plan Tune-Up features are powered by OpenAI and are intended to provide general guidance and motivation. Please note:

• AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation.
• The AI coach is not a substitute for professional advice from qualified healthcare providers, therapists, or counselors.
• You should not rely solely on AI guidance for important life decisions.
• Plan Tune-Up proposals may change only an action's schedule, anchor, or kickstart version. You are responsible for reviewing the preview and choosing whether to apply it.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Resolution Companion, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Resolution Companion and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

Resolution Companion is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
