Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Resolution Companion ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Resolution Companion is a personal development application designed to help users define personal growth goals, track daily actions, and receive AI-powered coaching. The App provides:

• AI-assisted persona definition and goal setting
• Daily action tracking and momentum visualization
• AI coaching and reflection sessions
• Progress analytics and alignment metrics

Subscription Terms

Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings (App Store or Google Play Store).

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

End User License Agreement (EULA)

For Google Play downloads, the Google Play Terms of Service apply.

User Responsibilities

When using Resolution Companion, you agree to:

• Use the App for lawful purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Not use the App in any way that could harm or overburden our services
• Not share your subscription access with others

AI Features Disclaimer

The AI coaching and onboarding features are powered by OpenAI and are intended to provide general guidance and motivation. Please note:

• AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation.
• The AI coach is not a substitute for professional advice from qualified healthcare providers, therapists, or counselors.
• You should not rely solely on AI guidance for important life decisions.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Resolution Companion, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Resolution Companion and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

Resolution Companion is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
